Zayn Malik leaving One Direction after the cheating scandal

Zayn Malik has quit One Direction, the band have confirmed in a statement.

Malik said: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band.

"I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right."

One Direction will continue their world tour as a four piece and record a fifth album later this year.

Last week, Malik walked away from the band's world tour after being signed off with stress.

He returned to the UK shortly after being forced to defend his relationship with his fiancee, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

A photo had earlier emerged of him holding another woman around the waist.

A second photo, taken from behind, showed Malik standing close to the woman. Their hands and arms looked as though they were linked.

In a statement, the rest of the group said: "We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future.
"The past five years have been beyond amazing - we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends.
"The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."

Simon Cowell, who discovered the boyband on talent show The X Factor, said: "I would like to say thank you to Zayn for everything he has done for One Direction.

"Since I first met Zayn in 2010, I have grown very, very fond - and immensely proud - of him. I have seen him grow in confidence and I am truly sorry to see him leave.

"As for One Direction, fans can rest assured that Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis are hugely excited about the future of the band."

The Group One Direction had a concert in the Philippines without Zayn Malik on it, but they still gave the fans what they deserved.

Cebu Pacific Incident: Melissa Mendez' side

Melissa Mendez defends her rights.
We have seen too many articles that made Melissa Mendez dignity go down. This article is not to defend the actress but we aim not to be one-sided with issues that concern citizens.

Here is some posts on Facebook about defending the actress on the Cebu Pacific incident where she was unloaded and said 'banned' from the airlines. The incident involved Andrew Wolf and his friend, Rey Pamaran, whom Melissa admitted was hit by her because he said that the actress had a foul breath.

Posts on Facebook that defends Melissa Mendez' side.
According to some passenger's statement, the actress was just sitting in the seat of Andrew Wolf's friend to take a picture of the clouds near the window. Who should we believe? I think no one, because we were not present when the incident happened and let us try to be neutral until the issue is solved.

5-Year-Old Tangled in Giant Kite and Fell to his death

A (supposed to be happy) kite festival practice in Vietnam ended in tragedy when a 5-year-old boy was accidentally tangled in a giant kite’s string and dragged more than 60ft in the air before falling to his death in Ho Chi Minh City.

The victim was identified as Van Minh Dat, who was only at the event to help his mother sell drinks to kite flyers and spectators. The horrific accident was caught on cam, showing the young boy being pulled into the air as helpless onlookers scream in terror.

Dat’s Aunt, who witnessed the accident told Thanh Nien News that the giant kite had fallen to the ground several times after the Saigon Kite Club members attempted to launch it in unstable wind condition. In one such fall the kite knocked down a table and some chairs near the drinks stall where Dat’s mother and him were working.

Apparently, the little kid run near the kite, trying to help pick up some fallen soft drink bottles, but his leg got caught up in the kite string. The kite then instantly took off because of the strong winds, dragging the boy up.

Members of the Saigon Kite Club attempted to launched this massive kite about 15 meters wide, as they were practicing for an upcoming kite festival in the beach city of Vung Tau.

Many netizens who were saddened by the news asked why no help was made. If someone tries to catch this child, it will be another casualty, plus, you can't predict the estimate fall that fast.

A baby from Quezon City that has identical wounds of the crucified Jesus Christ. Funny!

The baby named Jejomar Castillo was born at Quezon City General Hospital. Since the news was spread out, the baby has attracted a lot of faithful devotees wanting to witness the stigmata. BULLSHIT.

The real image is way cuter. Congrats to the mother!
This is the unedited photo of the child dubbed as World's seven billionth baby.
This baby girl's real name is Danica May Camacho, a girl born in Philippine capital Manila, is chosen by UN to symbolically mark global population milestone. Do not be deceived by false PHOTOSHOPS guys.

All I can say is in today's generation, editing is too easy and people easily get fooled by false propaganda.

Why you should not watch Oh My G

Oh My G is a TV program on ABS-CBN that shows a young girl who can 'talk' with God
There is a previous article written to criticize this TV show: Oh My G is a False Propaganda

Janella Salvador is very charming lady, but I don't watch shows or movies because of their beautiful actresses, I watch it because of the story.

We are all special to God, but what made this girl in the TV show more special? Well, she is a beautiful young lady on a rich, almost-perfect happy family. But does God have an attitude of favoritism? Of course not. Well, it's just a TV show, but that's not the case, because TV shows are manipulative these days, and most Filipinos are easily fooled!

Reasons why you should not watch Oh My G
  • God does not talk to anyone in a physical form, only through prayer.
  • God does not command a request of a dying parent to watch over their children in a physical form, which is portrayed in the movie. God watches over us all.
  • God won't use Facebook or smartphones to communicate with us, that's blasphemy, what's the use of prayer?
  • God changed into the form of a very handsome young man. Remember, God is a spirit and can influence us as a spirit. No need to bother changing into a physical handsome man.
  • There are more people in the world who has bigger problems than the girl who is so rich and lost her family, nothing is too special about her.
Like I said, it maybe just a TV show and should not take it seriously, but this is talking about our belief which should be taken very very seriously. The media should stop creating stories that influence other people. Stories like these are false, well, its nothing new, ABS-CBN has a reputation of showing idiocy on their TV shows, like love affairs and teenage pregnancy. Be careful on what your children watch on TV! Because they may grow up believing that God will indeed talk to them on Facebook.

China Bullying: Why the Government can't do anything as of yet

China has built infrastructure in the disputed islands in the West Philippine Sea, the Spratly islands.
Many Filipinos have asked, "Is our president a coward and a  fool?". Many keyboard commandos in the social media were blaming the government for not acting. Here is the real truth: They are acting on it, but China did not listen.

Even the Unites States asked China to stop bullying the Philippines, but as a powerful nation, they don't listen to anyone but themselves. The government of the Philippines has asked the UN and the US about it.

Let us be realistic, if we force our president to be 'brave' against the Chinese, will it do anything good? Of course not! Even if some people recklessly say that our President is Chinese-blooded, which is a fact, it can't change anything. And being a Chinese is not the reason why the government is not acting on it, because they know far better than those brainless netizens that WAR is not the solution.

If there is war and many people died, people will still blame the government, so it's better that they just use diplomacy in order for the Chinese to stop. Although we had US as defense allies, they can't act on it just yet. Remember, China is one of the economic giants in the world that the US economy totally depends on. And we understand why the US will also think of its economy, because they know how it will affect its people.

If we compare our military power against China, it's like we our throwing stones against people with guns. The government should not listen to those people who says, "War against China!" because they are just fools who sit in the office, and if they are brave, they should enlist themselves in the army and go on a mission to stop the Chinese in the West Philippine Sea.

Maybe that's the reason why Philippines won't improve no matter what the government do, because the problem is in its people. Many Filipinos act brave on the internet and blame the government for not doing anything, but in reality, they're just a bunch of cowards who will just hide when War against China will happen.

This war is not just into us so we could win, it is not a war of power, but it can be solved with peace and negotiations.

How the Philippine System of Education Killed Young Dreamers

Education kills creativity
A student in Makati committed suicide after his British-national teacher scolded and embarrassed him in front of the class. Now, a freshman Respiratory Therapy student from Tuguegerao committed suicide because she was unable to pay for her midterm tuition fee and thus failed to take the exam.

These young dreamers did not kill themselves, it is the system that killed them. They have high hopes and confidence that education will bring them into a secured future. Because of this belief which the society has fed up to them, when they have failed to pay for tuition or being humiliated in class, it is likely the end of life for them.

I take this from experience, although I did not try to commit suicide. I learned English not in school but in the internet, it is the online games that taught me how to write English better than my classmates when I was in college. To be honest, I did not learn anything in school, education frustrates me but learning doesn't. I hunger for learning, as I see today, Education is far different from learning.

We should be aware that most world billionaires are college dropouts or have not taken education at all. Mark Zuckerberg, Henry Sy, an even Manny Pacquiao, what did they all had in common? They were hardworking people, and hardworking is not taught at school.

Some countries outside the Philippines have cheaper or even free education. If the society believes that education is the 'key' to the future, they should invest more money for it than infrastructures and wars.

They have added a new system called K to 12 but for me its useless. Lengthening the time of education is nothing if the teachers don't even teach their students of what should be taught. I don't generalize all the teachers, since I've known some teachers who really teach their students well.

Quality over Quantity, it is a simple quote but has a very good impact for me. These young dreamers deserved to have a free education because they're the ones hunger for it, and yet they are the ones being deprived of it. The system of education sucks, where is learning? Before, you may die because your knowledge but at least it was free. If learning has a price before, there would be no Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Greek Philosophers, Newton and etc. Think again! Education kills, so better reach out for learning!

News about the announcement of the New Samsung S6

By Se Young Lee and Harro Ten Wolde

SEOUL/BARCELONA (Reuters) - Samsung Electronics Co Ltd unveiled its latest Galaxy S smartphones featuring a slim body made from aircraft-grade metal, in a bid to reclaim the throne of undisputed global smartphone leader from Apple Inc.

Designed from scratch in an operation dubbed "Project Zero", the Galaxy S6 and its curved-edges variant are critical for Samsung's plans to reverse plunging smartphone revenues that led to its first annual earnings fall in three years in 2014.

By some estimates, Apple surpassed Samsung as the world's biggest smartphone maker late last year, selling a record 74.5 million iPhones in the December quarter on the back of the success of its big-screen iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Samsung's previous flagship Galaxy S5 was outsold in its second full month of global sales by Apple's older iPhone 5S, according to researcher Counterpoint.

The South Korean giant begins its fight-back on April 10 when the revamped Galaxy phones, unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday, hit the market in one of the most important product launches in the company's history.

"We listen to our customers and we learn from our missteps," J.K. Shin, Samsung's president and chief executive told a packed hall in Barcelona's convention center.

"I may not be the best public speaker. That is because my first language is engineering," he said.
Samsung is yet to disclose pricing or where the phones will appear first but said on Sunday that the phone will go on sale in 20 countries.

Stand-out features include casing made from light-weight metal used in airplanes, a step up from the plastic that disappointed many critics of the S5, and Corning Inc's Gorilla Glass on both front and back.

The Galaxy S6 upgrades the previous version's camera and screen, and strips out many of Samsung's unpopular in-house software apps that infuriated users by gobbling memory. It and the Galaxy S6 Edge will also be powered by Samsung's new 64-bit, 14-nanometer Exynos processors, analysts said.
"This offers the promise of delivering better overall margins for Samsung and, in time, differentiated performance from rivals, as Apple has achieved" with their own chip used in iPhones, said Ian Fogg, an analyst at IHS Technology.

"But it's a high-risk, high-reward strategy," he added.

In its previous Galaxy phones Samsung used a processor from Qualcomm.

The phones are also the first from Samsung to support wireless charging as a standard feature. In another departure, they have non-removable batteries to make them slimmer. To compensate for the lack of interchangeable batteries, Samsung says a 10-minute charge by cord gives four hours of power.

Samsung is also touting the Galaxy S6's compatibility with a new mobile payments system it is preparing to launch in the United States and South Korea in the second half of this year, using the technology of recently acquired startup LoopPay.

The system, in partnership with major U.S. banks and credit card companies including Visa and MasterCard, will allow users to make mobile payments through magnetic strip-card readers without an external accessory needed for other models.

The rival Apple Pay system, launched in the United States in September and rapidly winning retailer support, requires merchants to install near-field card readers, limiting its reach as contactless credit cards have been slow to take off there.

The new Samsung flagships will also come with free two-year, 115-gigabyte cloud storage through Microsoft Corp's OneDrive, suggesting improved relations between the firms after they settled a patent dispute last month.

Jolo Revilla admitted that he accidentally shot himself

Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla
Manila, Philippines - "Nagkamali ako." (I made a mistake)

That was an admission that came from Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla himself in what his lawyer Raymond Fortun said was “accidental.”

In a medical bulletin issued at 5 p.m, Revilla was brought back to the intensive care unit of the Asian Hospital after undergoing an operation to stop the internal bleeding sustained from the gun shot wound in the upper right portion of his chest.

In a post on her Facebook account, Revilla’s mother and Cavite second district representative Lani Mercado said that a half liter of his blood was drained from his lungs.

The operation lasted for two and half hours where a tube was inserted in his lungs to drain excess blood.

Mercado-Revilla asked for prayers for the recovery of his son.

“Please continue to pray for him,” she said.

Only family members are allowed to visit Revilla due to his “delicate” condition following the operation.

Revilla suffered a single gun shot wound after a .40 Glock hand gun “accidentally” went off while cleaning, the family claimed.

Meanwhile, detained Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. will ask for a 24-hour furlough to visit his son at the Asian Hospital.

Fortun said the furlough would be filed before the Sandiganbayan by Monday or Tuesday. AJH; With reports from Bayani San Diego and Kristine Mangunay.
